 Communication
We will use WhatsApp to communicate the week prior and during the trip. You may wish to purchase an international plan for your cell phone or a wifi plan with Royal Caribbean. We will also be able to call others room (fun) to check-in and make plans.
 Daily Spending
If you’re striving to have a low key and calm experience please be prepared to spend around $30 to $50 a day for fun and affordable tours. I recommend bringing around $400 (cash) to spend for shopping, excursions, off ship meals, alcoholic beverages, etc. if you are striving to have an adventurous experience and to eat lunch at a local restaurant.

You may also opt to stay on the ship and enjoy the free activities and amenities that are offered onboard.
Gratuity
Your stateroom attendant is your personal concierge and will make sure that all of your housekeeping needs are met during the Retreat. Royal Caribbean will automatically charge you $14.50 a day for gratuity. I recommend that you visit Guest Services and request to provide a Cash tip for your stateroom attendant. If you decide to provide a cash tip, you may wish to tip your stateroom attendant around $10 a day or ($70 total).

I will tip the waiters and servers on behalf of the group.
Credit + Debit Card Usage
During the Retreat your onboard spending will place holds on your account. For example, if you purchase an alcoholic beverage you will notice a hold for $10.50. These holds are not actual charges but rather temporary authorizations to ensure that final payment will be successful at the end of the trip. In other words, the final charges will not be permanently authorized until the last day of the trip.
